(My Christmas Midnight Dinner Plate)

Oh so the simple Christmas Midnight Dinner is over and all of us were full. I haven't got the time to post a picture of what we had due to some error on my cam. Luckily I was able to load all the pictures after a day of trying :D

Merry Christmas!

I wish I can sing my one of old-time favorite Christmas song to all of my Friends and Love-ones.

Merry Christmas and a Blessed and Wealthy New Year to all of us. :D

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Let your heart be light
From now on our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Make the Yule-tide gay
From now on our troubles will be miles away

Here we are as in olden days, happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us gather near to us once more

Through the years we all will be together, if the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bought
And have yourself a Merry Little Christmas now
And have yourself a Merry Little Christmas now.

I Been Hit

Yeah.. I been hit, heavily hit by Homesickness :(.

I thought my years of being alone will strengthens my feelings of being independent.. by myself, away from the wings of my family... specially my parents..well, I'm wrong again.

-sigh-

-deep sigh-

-very deep sigh-

I'm now chanting one of my favorite Hangad Song included on their "Pasko Naming Hangad" album.

-Simeon's Canticle -

Lord, let Your servant go in peace
For Your Word has been fulfilled.

A Child shall be born to the Virgin,
And His Name shall be called, "Emmanuel."

My own eyes have seen Your salvation
Which You have prepared for all men.

A Light shall reveal to the nations
And the glory of Your people, Israel.

A passage from book of Luke which I first heard years back in Advent Season....

Holiday Mode

Everyone is sooo quiet these past two days. I can't think of anything to do with relates to my job. Though work load come unexpectedly any moment of the day, I still feel having so many free time towards the day.

Some of my colleagues are counting some important days(as they say). From Christmas to New Year to Salary Day. Yes! Salary Day! Funny, but now I agreed with them.. Salary Day is one of the important day these coming holiday week :D.

Yuletide Preparation

It's 2 days before Christmas but still most of us here can't feel the touch of the Yuletide Celebration. Well, because for the main reason that we are in a Muslim country. It's just a good thing that they are one of those open countries which give other people to celebrate their religion's festivities freely.

So as a tradition, We plan to have a simple Noche Buena with some of my friends. And I volunteered to prepare some foods for the gathering. I have some foods I like to prepare for the occasion but I'm not really confident to give them a taste of my personal experiments. Hopefully since most of them are foods vacuums, they didn't care what will be the taste of all the viands I have in mind.

I'm planning to make a honey grilled boneless chicken breast which is simple and easy to prepare since the ingredients are easy to be found at any supermarket. A red potato salad which I will cook for the first time and spicy chicken cooked in coconut milk(which I found interesting prepared by my Indonesian friend when we have a get-together in her place).

I only have 4 hours to prepare these foods since we agreed to attend a night mass on 24th. The Church activity will start at 10pm with a Chorale singing some Christmas songs, an information from the resident priest last Sunday. I'm not sure if they are the same group who sang on Christmas eve last two years ago (they didn't held the same activity last year), but as I can remember, they sang really good. I saw lots of peeps wiping their tears (I'm one of them). It's a different feeling I had back then because that is my first year being away on my family, away to celebrate a family occasion like Christmas :(.

Happy Christmas...

We had an early Christmas party last weekend..

Everyone's Happy...

Everybody are drunk..... wasted!

Some lost their voices... some their minds :D

and....

... I had an upset stomach :(

Twilight.... Twilight.... Twilight....

After the long silence.... atlas here I am again!

So for what I read from some blogs before, not updating your own personal journal is a great crime now... hahaha hilarious. This is a repetitive excuse actually.. but sorry I'm really busy.

Since my country will be having an almost 2 weeks holiday because of Yuletide season, we must need to finish all of the transaction before next week. That's the reason why I lost and hop into a different world. Now I'm back to reality.. if this is what it is.

And oh, Im done reading the forth and last book of Stephenie Meyer. After one week of being stagnant to the last book, I finally finished it last night. Wahhh.. I thought before that it will take me 1 whole week reading all her four books since it only took me maximum of 2 and half day to finish her 1st and second novel. I actually lost the momentum and urge to finish the last book quickly because I somewhat feel bore on the last one. I don't know, I really don't feel my self connected on the story. But I love the latter part of her last novel. Really.. Still it's a happy ending... not with the Volturi's side atleast.... hahahaha.

Now I tried to collect all her books including her first novel (The Host). Unfortunately after the new fad strike, all her books was out of stock to 3 major bookstore here in my adopted country. Tsk tsk!

Everyone are sooooo crazzzyyyyy!!!!

First Kick

So last Tuesday was my official day of being a member of the MMU Taekwondo Club. The thought of being one of them for the first time excites me very much that I arrived at the place 15 minutes earlier that the normal schedule.

Of course that would be a positive act but it turns out that gesture of being the earliest bird is a bad idea, well for me. Since I haven't met them yet, I don't know who to approach among the bunch of students at FCM Atrium which gave me some negative thought and feelings.

Then, I almost lost my patience and decided to head home when my instinct advice me to stay for another minute just to make sure my time wouldn't be wasted. And finally I saw them!

I met Melvin (Melvin or Malvin - I'm not so sure :D) which who stand as the assistance instructor. He is very friendly and accommodating to all of my inquiries. I'm hesitant at first when he invited me to join the session right away but then I realized that is the reason why I am there.

Stretching and jogging was the first things he ask on six of us who are present that day. It is just good to know that I'm not the only rookie present on that training which lessen my nerves. I thought that the first two task wasn't be a problem to me since I always, well no often now, do stretching. I would say that it makes me sweat a lot.

Then suddenly I haven't notice that our instructor, Lawrence, already joins us on our training who teach us the following:

Basic punching (1 count, 1-2 count and 1-3 count) Front Kicking and Side Kicking

Then the rest is a good and unforgettable experience...

E-Books

Been occupied these past few days reading some interesting novels. It's a kind of romance and suspense rolled into one. Actually I just got some e-book copies of novels from my friends and no plan to start to read the first one soon when a movie based on the story shown two day after I started to decide reading it.

Im soo bad in reviewing any story, novel, books and even movies and I don't know if this thing will kick my first attempt. Anyway, all I can say is that I really love reading it. The story is a Cinderella-suspense story which give a lot of chill. I don't know how other found the novel but I think I am one of the late readers of the story.

The author already done 4 books for this love story and I think she still keeps on making more. If you are familiar with Stephenie Meyer, I bet you know what I'm pointing out.
