Sinusitis
My body is aching and I got a head and face ache. I already tried drinking some medicine which my colleagues and family recommended but nothing happens :(. I am not used to drink medicine specially solid ones due to bad experience when I was a kid. I lost some of my hair due to excessive intake of my asthma pills.
Anyway, I am thinking if I will stay till afternoon at the office since I really feel bad. The only thing stops me is the fact that its the last day of the week. And I think its not advisable to waste my leave if I decided to went back.

No Holiday for October 31st
I bet all terminals (buses, ferries and domestic airports) will be jammed by people hurried to go back to their respective places.. tsk tsk!
(Jack-o-Lantern)
So there is, while my Country is not giving the opportunity to its people for a day off, other Country is now busy for their Halloween Party. They usually celebrate it a the night of October 31st. I think its very great doing your own scary lantern from a pumpkin. Thinking on some tricks for your "Threat-or-Tricks" and holding a huge Costume Party. It's just pitiful that I haven't experience all these things yet.
I remember when I was a grade schooler, I tried to cut and shaped my nanay's squash into a Jack-O-Lantern by following a guide from a magazine that I found in our Home. I mistakenly thought that squash and pumpkins are the same since they both round. I believed then that they only have different color and physical features because pumpkins are normally found in western country which I referred as "steytsayd". Anyway, I then found out that they are different in texture since pumpkin is much thinner that squash which made the first easy to cut and design. So, I end up slicing the squash for our next viand.
Since then, making a Jack-O-Lantern became one of my greatest master piece frustrations.

Another Holiday
(From Wikipedia)
"Deepavali, or Divali is a major Indian festival, and a significant festival in Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism. Many legends are associated with Diwali. Today it is celebrated by Hindus, Jains and Sikhs across the globe as the "Festival of Lights," where the lights or lamps signify victory of good over the evil within every human being. The festival is also celebrated by Buddhists of Nepal, particularly the Newar Buddhists.
In many parts of India, it is the homecoming of King Rama of Ayodhya after a 14-year exile in the forest. The people of Ayodhya (the capital of his kingdom) welcomed Rama by lighting rows (avali) of lamps (deepa), thus its name, Deepavali. This word, in due course, became Diwali in Hindi. But, in South Indian languages, the word did not undergo any change, and hence the festival is called Deepavali in southern India. Southern India marks it as the day Lord Krishna defeated the demon Narakasura.
Diwali is celebrated on the first day of the lunar Kartika month, which comes in the month of October or November.
In Jainism it marks the nirvana of Lord Mahavira, which occurred on October 15, 527 BCE. The Sikhs celebrate Diwali for a different reason; on this day, the Sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind Ji, was freed from imprisonment along with 52 Hindu Kings (political prisoners) whom he had arranged to be released as well. After his release he went to Darbar Sahib (golden temple) in the holy city of Amritsar. There, he was greeted by Sikhs and many other people. In happiness they lit candles and diyas to greet the Guru. In India, Diwali is now considered to be a national festival, and the aesthetic aspect of the festival is enjoyed by most Indians regardless of faith."
So it's another Holiday for my adapted country. We are the only one working today. Hayyyz. Actually I'm looking forward to have another Holiday from my country before All Saints and All Souls day arrive. But I think the government will not give us a day rest. Pity :(

Toothache
It is good that no one complains that they got tetanus from that practice.
If only life is as simple as treating like what my late lolo does. Maybe (just maybe) some major problems in our society can be treated instantly. Instant magic :D
[Sumakit kasi bigla ipin ko kaya ko cya naisip... miss you lolo. I know you're already in heaven with lola. Please always ask papa Jesus to continue in protecting us...]
Idle
I have lots of free time today. I haven't received any calls for almost 2 hours.. yay!
Just to keep myself busy, I decided to scroll and view all pictures I have taken from my vacation using my new Kodak m83 digital camera which I bought a month ago.

Welcome back to me :)
I'm still having jet-lag from my flight last Sunday. Our flight was been delayed due to heavy storm from the country where they departed. The 2 hours delay would be my first from this airlines for 3 years.
Reached my place at 1230h Monday morning gave me a headache. I wasn't able to sleep due to tiredness.
At the office, I wasn't able to surf the internet and update my blog due to overflowing emails on my notes that I need to be read and delete, and I spent my days working on it.
Anyway I have to put all things on place before having a good rest while at my workplace.
